Can you make design modifications for me?
Yes we can . The best way for you to maintain the design integrity of your new home plan is to have us make the major design modifications for you. You will still want to have your local Architect, engineer or builder review the plans and make additional modifications to conform with local code requirements or other local conditions.
Can you create a new custom plan for me?
Yes we can. We have created a process that allows us to create a new , one of a kind custom home for you at a fee that is far less than you would pay if you hire an Architect. Please contact us and we will discuss your needs in detail and provide you with a fee quote.
Should I purchase plans in PDF or CAD version?
We strongly recommend you purchase the CAD version of our plans. This makes it much simpler and quicker for your local Architect, engineer or builder to make modifications.. Most plans will need some form of modification to suit your local building conditions or code, so it almost always makes sense to purchase the CAD version.
You sell “Concept Plans” and “Enhanced Construction Plans”. What is the difference and which one should I purchase?
“Concept Plans” are intended for folks who intend to make significant changes and / or want to develop their own interior design ideas more fully. The plans are more streamlined and are not intended to be used for permits or construction. Interior information is kept sparse. The design intent of the home is clearly conveyed however with plans, elevations and building sections. We provide you with cad files so your local Architect, Engineer or Builder can make your desired changes and prepare the plans for construction.
Our “Enhanced Construction Plans” is more typical of a full set of permit drawings. These plans will include important interior elevations, lighting plans, selected details and in general more information throughout. You will still need to make sure that you have your local Architect, Engineer or Builder review these plans and make modifications necessary to satisfy local code requirements or building conditions.
