Our Marine Garage Apartment Plan continues our tradition of creating small, smart, live able spaces. And this garage plan comes with the possibility of paying for itself. The above garage apartment can be rented out or serve as a completely self sufficient Mother In Law Studio.
The building form is inspired by our Marine Farmhouse featuring a dramatic steep roof line with deep overhangs. Shed dormers punctuate the sides of the gable and provide additional space for the apartment above.
The main floor is generously sized for two automobiles and has an additional bump-out along the side for additional storage or work space. Upstairs is a completely self sufficient apartment which is creatively zoned to create spaces for kitchen, living, bed area, eating, bath and storage. A perfect space for a young professional or for your active Grandma or Grandpa. Alternatively the upper level floor plan could be modified to provide a perfect artist studio or office space.
