Our Marine Cottage definitely has a contemporary twist. A comfortable blend of traditional form, warm materials and subtle contemporary patterns wrapped around an extremely flexible and livable floor plan.

This simple yet unique house plan is designed and for a site with a beautiful setting. Our Marine Cottage Home Design takes advantage of that through the abundant use of windows on all sides and ample porch space.

The interior of the main floor features a functional mudroom, a mini office and an open floor plan filled with light from all directions. Upstairs 3 bedrooms are neatly tucked in under a sloping ceiling - just like grandmas Cottage Home. Cleverly placed dormers provide the interior spaces with additional natural light and views.

Foundation

The Marine Cottage house plan comes with a crawl space foundation. This could easily be adapted by your local Architect or Builder to accommodate a full basement, or other lot configurations.
