Our Forest Lake Cottage house plan was designed by Ron Brenner of ron brenner architects in Stillwater, Minnesota. This home design features a main floor master bedroom, a vaulted living room, an open floor plan and also has a side lookout basement. The exterior design comfortably combines elements from traditional and contemporary cottage home styles.
This home plan’s exterior is characterized by this designer’s exquisite attention to scale, proportion, window patterns, materials and all of the details. A beautifully proportioned front gable clad in cedar shingles provides the focal point of the home. A generous roof covered front porch serves as the main entry. Crisp white clapboard siding provides a dramatic contrast with the cedar shingles. Everywhere you look one sees the care and attention of the designer.
The main floor accommodates a main floor master bedroom, kitchen, living and dining areas within its elegant open floor plan. Upstairs you find two additional bedrooms and an open hallway revealing the lofted living room below. An above garage bonus room provides ample space for an additional bedroom and / or family flex areas.
The Forest Lake Cottage house plan comes with a full basement foundation. The plan could easily be adapted by your local Architect or Builder to accommodate full basement, walkout or other lot configurations.
Due to licensing agreements this home cannot be built in Washington County in Minnesota.
