Our Willowbrook County house plan was designed by Ron Brenner of Ron Brenner Architects. This unique home design was inspired by the many simple yet elegant homes that can be found from coast-to-coast. This home would be suitable for the shorelines of lakes, rivers, and oceans, but would be equally at home in the country, or on a large wide lot with beautiful views!
This home plan’s exterior is characterized by the designer’s exquisite attention to scale, proportion, materials and all of the details. Everywhere you look one sees the care and attention of the designer. The aesthetic is a modernized interpretation of a country home. The palette of horizontal and vertical siding mixed with a stone foundation and metal roof creates a sophisticated composition. The contrasting color scheme adds dramatic affect.
This home plan incorporates a vast array of windows, a patio, a porch and deck taking advantage of the beautiful surrounding landscape. On the main level, the open living areas allow an easy flow of the daily routine. The Living, Dining, Kitchen and Nook areas are all open to each other, yet are still distinctively zoned for intimate living. The two-side fireplace is positioned to offer visibility from the Dining and Living areas. The Screen Porch provides casual outdoor living, dining and relaxation. A beautiful den is placed to the side of the foyer and offers a quiet space to escape. The generous front entry and half bath are smartly placed between the garage and great room providing a nice buffer zone. Upstairs the three bedrooms, including the master suite, are neatly placed beneath an interesting roof line. An above garage bonus room provides ample space for additional bedrooms and / or family flex areas.
The Willowbrook Country house plan comes with a full basement with a partial walkout condition. The basement is unfinished but indicates a possible future build out. The plan can easily be modified to accomodate other site conditions.
